Feels Like Joy
This is one of my favorite sequences. It is a classic Christmas song that has been a staple of our light show for years. The synchronization of the lights to the music creates a magical experience that brings joy to everyone who visits.
I use all 6 homes in this sequence to create an amazing effect. The lights dance and twinkle in perfect harmony with the music, creating a mesmerizing display that captivates the audience. It's a true testament to the power of music and light working together to create something beautiful.
A Disney Christmas
This special Disney-themed sequence brings together the magic of beloved films like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Cars. Each musical moment is paired with synchronized lighting effects that stretch across all six homes in our display.
From ocean blues dancing to Ariel’s song to fiery reds pulsing with pirate drums, this show transforms our neighborhood into a celebration of adventure, wonder, and childhood nostalgia. Whether you're young or young at heart, this one is sure to make you smile.

It all started with a Raspberry Pi and a dream—to make my Christmas lights blink to music. No one warned me what a monster it would become. Join me for a look back at how this project evolved from basic… to ridiculous… to completely insane. From a few AC lights to a multi-home, pixel-powered synchronized display, here’s the journey of The Brown Family Lights from 2015 to 2022.
